College of the Holy Trinity

This post is a mixed post it came from an accidental discovery last week as I walked by high Coimbra; is mixed because it is an old college, church and tavern in a single block. Let's talk of the College of the Holy Trinity and the Redemption of Captives Tavern “Silverware”:

A little history chronologically arranged:
1562
Although previously existed elsewhere in town, was 1562 who started its construction on land the top of the harness Lisbon;
1563
The Order acquired by 25.000 Kings land to the Church of S º Pedro;
1574
May Lawrence Moorish houses are attached;
1575
In 11 January is granted by charter to the College, a piece of useless street and alleyway, getting the Ordem “thank you” to make a sidewalk 30 feet wide on the west side alleyway;
1630
It built the mannerist portal College Church. A 7 December the Board grant permission to add a porch to the portal, with the proviso that no more than 12 side spans;
1696-97
During this school year, Church was held in the visitation that the Statutes of the University determined before to be done twice in each academic year;
1809
It was headquarters of British troops, 2nd French Invasion;
1834
The College was closed and its assets were inventoried, immediately after the extinction of the religious orders, in 29 May – Thursday of Corpus Christi;
1835-1881
Worked in the church and cloister of Trinity College, Judicial Court of Coimbra;
1849
In 14 May, the residential part of the building is purchased in the public square by Father Manuel Dias Cardoso Simões, by 3.200$00 Kings;
1884
A 15 November the decision to give the church the former Trinity College for classes of industrial design at the School Brotero is communicated, established in January;
1889
Installs the Associação Académica de Coimbra, after the destruction of the Academic Theatre;
1895
A 12 June, the church is put up for auction by the House and is bought by Archbishop José Simões Dias, then owner of the building of the College;
The church was later used for joinery and furniture warehouse and storage as;
1988
Collapse of College Church on the sidewalk harness Lisbon, causing only material damage to some vehicles parked there. According to some witnesses, for a few days were the debris on the sidewalk and without proper monitoring and municipal protection, which meant that they were stolen overnight rubble, Cantarias and tiles;
1999
A 11 January, the newspaper “The Public” reports the intention of Regents of the University of Coimbra start the following year the conversion of Trinity College, which has long planned to install a center for European Studies. next to 500 thousand tales were estimated for assistance funding by the European Union;
2001
A 10 April closes one of the icons of the student community, that there Esteve for 39 year old. Ir ao “Silverware” was synonymous with a stroke or go drink a cup three, eating lupins, live together, fado singing and telling hurts. The university ordered the foreclosure of the Tavern to begin the restoration of the Trinity College;

    I'm studying architecture in Lisbon and I will now begin my master's thesis, which is precisely restore this college. It was easy to get to take pictures?
    I need to do the same… =/

        I´m a architecture student from germany and I curently work on my thesis. I chose the this “collegio” as my design project.
        I would like to ask if there is a possibilty to get the pictures in a higher resolution ?
        As i told you it will be a student work without a commeracial use!
