Belonging to Commander Joaquim Monteiro Bastos, was donated by the latter to the Misericórdia of Góis, in 1916.
Its inauguration was the 12 March 1916.
It was a health reference in the Municipality of Góis, but there are more than 50 years that didn't work as a hospital.
by the way, after "closed" the hospital, functioned as the Santa Casa da Misericórdia Day Center, a UPAG, but the degradation was clearly advancing and for more than 15 years that this institution also abandoned the building..
106 years after its donation to Santa Casa da Misericórdia, could be transformed into the "N2 Hotel", which could also bring a little more of the old glory of the famous National Road 2.
