Children's Sanatorium – Caramulo

The Caramulo was in the last century a huge pole in the fight against tuberculosis, being the site of almost 20 sanatoriums…While some were recovered, other continuam the abandonment…And that's what draws us, and so, Hunting the vacant recently embarked on an expedition to Caramulo to document these buildings!

The Sanitarium is that you'll show Child Sanitarium, built in the late 30, in 1948 came to be called Sanitarium Antonio Tapia. I could not tell what year it ceased operating, but it is known that currently is owned by the Portuguese State and not as any plan involving his recovery!

If my colleagues d'Ghostbusters vacant deem relevant, will publish more information and images of Child Sanitarium.
