Description
Founded in the late 1940 and a prime location near the CP station Soure, these old warehouses were an important marketing warehousing fertilizers for farming zone center of the country, in addition to being next to the train line (Northern Line), counted even with a loading dock / contiguo discharge the same.

With an area of ​​about 32000 square meters, not only was the marketing of fertilizers unique activity of this complex warehouses. Simultaneously also occurred olive-pomace oil extraction, activity that would be common in some relatively nearby locations like Ansião.

Having the complex several buildings, each had its own utility, having offices, repair shop, electric power plant, warehouses of fertilizer and olive pomace warehouses, home to the pomace oil extraction, cafeterias and even residential houses for employees who kept alive and working the complex.

disabled in 2010, currently is in obvious state of disrepair but no doubt that the space could be used for a (or more!) activities that would boost the area and give employment to its inhabitants. After all location remains privileged, and beyond the railroad, It should remember that a few kilometers there is a node access to the A1 and it seems there is CM's plans to make a Soure via quick access to A17.

Historical Notes
Established in the late 1940, belonging to companha Union Fabril (CUF).

In the decade of 70, the nationalization of CUF gave rise to Quimigal, is at 1997 after the privatization of the group name was changed to ADP (Fertilizer Portugal), in 2009 after several mergers, the group came to be called ADP Fertilizantes S.A..

The warehouse complex was going through all these companies until its deactivation in 2010.
