Quinta dos Pianos

Another adventure awaits us. We decided to go to a farm that we had already kept for some time.. Like all the other places we go, we went to discover information that could somehow show us the history of the place and the people who lived there.

We came across a huge farm with several rooms and some outbuildings that were possibly used for raising animals. Shortly after we found out that it had a viewpoint, but we didn't go up the stairs because they are unstable and we didn't want to risk.

Description

When we entered we weren't expecting to see any big booty, since this farm is only known for its pianos, the chapel and the pool table, on which a good part of the ceiling collapsed, giving it a more degraded look. We were sorely mistaken. Still contained some booty, which allowed us to get some information from the owners.

Most books and some documents mark the year of 1971 and the owners of this house must be people with possessions, since most of the furniture that was found in some rooms did not appear to be cheap. Along the corridor were hand-painted tiles and even street lamps had on their ceilings.. at some point in their lives, they would live well off agriculture because we even found a document of technical division of agriculture with the year of 1947 and hunting (we found some books about this practice.).

arriving at the chapel, we didn't want to believe what our eyes saw. A chapel so well preserved. The well-crafted ceiling with phenomenal details and well delineated, not talking about the frescoes on the walls. I was amazed at so much detail. Above the door had dated the year 1880.

The main room was the prettiest of all the other rooms.. We soon came across a clavestone in the corner of the room that, Amazingly, still played. And in the background, a piano with a music sheet music book. This one no longer played a single note.

I read somewhere that the owner of this house was even a pianist, but we didn't find any document to prove it.. That is why, we deduced that the pianos would be just for the family's leisure time, as, the pool table.

We still found a calendar of 1925, a document of communion of 1960 and even a color photo of 1975, maybe from two brothers who will probably still be alive.

At the end of the farm's exploration, already outside the house, we found 5 cars. some classics. Of course, were no longer so well preserved, some pieces were missing and there were even enough signs of time degradation. For sure, in other times they took beautiful turns on these roads.

Under, I leave you the video I made of this beautiful house.
