Entretanto conseguimos mais alguma informação através de amigos (da Junta de Freguesia à qual enviei um e-mail a solicitar informação, não recebemos qualquer sinal de vida).
Trata-se ao que parece de um challet que afinal é conhecido por “Challet das Teixeirinhas” em vez do nome que ostenta no portão “Quinta de São João”. Crê-se que é do início do século XX e sabe-se que sofreu grandes estragos no início do ano passado, mais precisamente a 22 de Fevereiro de 2010 (fonte sobre o incêndio: Jornal Mealhada Moderna)
