Former House of the Marqueses de Reriz
“Of the great house of the Marquesses of Reriz only it remains, after a big fire, the framework, and this one without character. The entrance yard gate, from the beginning of the century. XVIII, rectangular, has on the entablature and between the windings of the interrupted pediment, the shield of arms; party of a band coming out of two animal heads and five brandões, with noble colonel". (Correia et al, 1953: 74 – Portugal's Artistic Inventory – District of Coimbra).
